Happy Birthday Tippy Toes! He'd be 53 years old.

I’m taking a break this week for the Independence Day holiday. But I didn’t want to leave you without anything to read, so I’m digging into the Lisa Unleashed archives for a special canine treat.
Please enjoy my post about Tippy Toes, a Schipperke x Beagle mix, and one of the most influential dogs in my young life. He came to me when I was 11 years old and passed when he was nearly 18 years old and I was 29.
His birthday was July 4th, 1972 and every year since then I think of him on this holiday. This week I’ll celebrate the 53rd anniversary of his birth, along with the 249th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. Here’s to our dogs and the freedom to love them with all our hearts.
